July 4th And Flag Desecration
For those who may not know, The Flag Code, prohibits use of the American Flag in commercial items as well as apparel. So why are so many “Americans” and “Patriots” draping themselves in the flag today and prancing around their backyard with a can of beer in one hand and a flag in the other?
Because most Americans are totally ignorant to the historical facts behind the nation they claim to love, support, and defend until death.
Let me refresh some of you with The Flag Code.
(d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery.
What part of “the flag should never be used as wearing apparel” do you not understand?
How about Patriotic paper plates, napkins, and all the other fine “PRO-AMERICA” products everyone is using today on the 4th of July?
(i) The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard.
The flag should not be used for commercial advertising, yet it is used every day for commercial purposes.
Any of you using an American Flag Napkin, should turn yourself in for “flag desecration.” How many times have you seen the American flag printed on napkins, pencils, anything you can think of… well,.. everytime it happens it is FLAG DESECRATION!
Isn’t it funny how many people desecrate the flag every day in the name of capitalism?
